1. What is granite?

2. Will granite look like the picture online?

The samples you see on the computer are the pictures of the stone that has been digitally transferred into our system. The color tones may not be absolutely exactly the same as you see digitally. Also, granite is a natural material with naturally occurring variations in color, tone, granularity, pattern, etc. So if granite was cut from a different part, then there will be variation in color tone.

3. Can granite crack?

Granite is a very hard surface and can withhold high impacts. Like any solid surface, the extremely high impact can harm granite. 4. Is granite repairable?

It is very hard to damage granite, but if it chipped or cracked, it can be sealed with a mixture of epoxy and ground up chips of granite. But if granite is properly installed and sealed, there should not worry about cracking it.

5. How to clean granite counter?

It is best to use the cleaner that is specifically designed for cleaning granite, as other cleaners can damage or cause discoloration of the stone. A neutral stone cleaner can be found in just about any local store or supermarket. This should be used instead of soap and water as these products help protect the seal so it lasts longer.
